The 5-Day Sasa Trail Premier Trek in Mount Elgon National Park takes hikers to Wagagai Peak and across Masaba Table at 4,020m. The trek passes through forests, moorland, and the caldera. Hikers summit Wagagai Peak at 4,321m, then descend to Kaiyah Camp near Suam Gorge and the Kenyan border. The route continues across the caldera to Mude Cave Camp and ends at Sasa River Camp. The trek starts from base camp in Bugiboni and passes Hunwick’s Camp and Masaba Camp. It includes guides, porters, meals, and accommodation. The trail offers views of cliffs, valleys, waterfalls, and vegetation zones.
