Chogoria-Sirimon Mt Kenya Trek combines two scenic routes, Chogoria route and Sirimon route. You ascend via Chogoria from the South East and descend via Sirimon on the North West. The trek starts with a drive from Nairobi to Mt. Kenya Bandas (2,900m) through forest. The hike continues to Lake Ellis campsite (3,600m) and then to Minto’s Camp (4,200m) through moorland with views of valleys. Summit day starts early with a hike to Lenana Point (4,985m), the 3rd highest point. After the summit, descend via Shipton Camp and Old Moses Camp, then continue to Sirimon gate and drive back to Nairobi.

• Day 1: Nairobi to Mt. Kenya Bandas (2,900m)

• Day 2: Mt. Kenya Bandas to Lake Ellis Campsite (3,600m)

• Day 3: Lake Ellis campsite to Minto's Camp (4,200m)

• Day 4: Mintos camp to Lenana Point (4,985m) to Old Moses Camp

• Trek Mt. Kenya using Chogoria and Sirimon routes, ascending from the South East and descending on the North West

• Early morning hike to Lenana Point (4,985m), the 3rd highest point on Mt. Kenya

• Exit through Sirimon gate and return to Nairobi
