Mt Kenya Naro Moru Hiking follows the Naro Moru route, the most popular and fastest route on Mt. Kenya to Lenana point (4,985m), the 3rd highest point. It is easier than other trekking routes. The trip starts with a drive from Nairobi to Naro Moru gate, where park formalities are done before hiking through forest to Met Station (3,050m). The climb continues through moorland, the Vertical Bog, and Teleki Valley to Mackinder’s Camp (4,200m). An early morning ascent leads to Lenana point for sunrise, followed by descent via Mackinder’s Camp to Met Station and transfer back to Nairobi.
